{"id":10579,"date":"2026-02-27T12:11:30","date_gmt":"2026-02-27T11:11:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/game-csic.com\/?p=10579"},"modified":"2026-03-09T10:36:29","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T09:36:29","slug":"effective-un-enfoque-innovador-para-proteger-y-restaurar-el-mediterraneo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/game-csic.com\/en\/effective-un-enfoque-innovador-para-proteger-y-restaurar-el-mediterraneo\/","title":{"rendered":"EFFECTIVE brings together its partners in Blanes to advance the restoration and ecosystem management of the Mediterranean"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_row-fluid\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"article-header__content\">\n<div class=\"article-header__excerpt\">\n<p data-start=\"1553\" data-end=\"1851\"><span class=\"wpex-text-xl\">The European project <strong>EFFECTIVE<\/strong>, funded by the Horizon Europe programme, held its <strong>third consortium meeting<\/strong> at the Centre for Advanced Studies of Blanes (<strong>CEAB\u2011CSIC<\/strong>), where more than 40 participants from 12 countries gathered for three days to coordinate scientific, technical, and management advances aimed at the protection and restoration of the Mediterranean.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1853\" data-end=\"2159\">\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_row-fluid\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<p>The meeting marked a key milestone to align the progress of the different work packages, consolidate the development of digital tools \u2014 including the pilots of <strong>Digital Twin<\/strong>\u2014 and strengthen marine restoration strategies in the four pilot areas of the project: <strong>Sea of Empord\u00e0<\/strong>, <strong>Ebro Delta<\/strong>, <strong>Northern Sardinia<\/strong> and <strong>Cape Greco (Cyprus)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>GAME group (Group of Aquatic Macrophyte Ecology, CEAB\u2011CSIC)<\/strong> He actively participated in the sessions, sharing progress related to nature-based solutions and the restoration of seagrass meadows, as well as in the fieldwork carried out in the area of <strong>Montgr\u00ed, Medes Islands and Lower Ter Natural Park<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The conference combined technical presentations, participatory sessions, and practical activities that enabled the connection of science, management, and action on the ground.
