During the last mission of Life Blue Natura project, we used a Vibrocorer. It penetrates into the sediment through the force of gravity and vibration movements. It allows us to sample in deep meadows extracting cores up to 5 or 6 meters long, which gives us sample enough to calculate the stock of carbon of the site and eventually can give us a record of thousands of years of the habitat history.
