During the last mission of Life Blue Natura For the project, we used a Vibrocorer. It penetrates the sediment through the force of gravity and vibration movements. It allows us to sample in deep meadows by extracting cores up to 5 or 6 metres long, which provides us with enough sample to calculate the site's carbon stock and can eventually give us a record of thousands of years of the habitat's history.
