About me
Carmen (Málaga, 1992) has recently won a predoctoral grant at CEAB-CSIC. Her PhD is focused in disentangling the environmental information contained in the mat of P.oceanica, which is a valuable repository of palaeo-ecological information of the seagrass ecosystem and adjacent both terrestrial and marine ecosystems. She is curently studying the sedimentary records from the National Insular Spanish Parks, of Cabrera and Galician Atlantic Islands. Carmen is a MSc in Ecology, Environmental Management and Restoration (2014, University of Barcelona, Spain). The title of her Master Thesis was“The Posidonia oceanica (L. Delile) mat archive: a tool for palaeo-ecological studies”.
Hobbies
Hiking, painting and crafts work.

Paleoecology in coastal environments, coastal conservation, carbon cycle and climate change.
