Open public consultation for the blue carbon methodology in coastal wetlands
CERCARBONO has launched the public consultation period for the methodology. CM-LU-CW-001 Blue Carbon Methodology for Mitigation of Climate Change in Coastal Wetlands, a key document for advancing the standardisation of climate mitigation projects based on coastal wetlands.
The consultation process invites all interested parties — including project developers, climate change specialists, environmental organisations, and academic institutions — to review the document and provide feedback that helps enhance its scientific rigour and practical usefulness.
The participation period will be open from 28 November to 28 December 2025, period during which all observations submitted by the involved parties will be received.
