The international BLUESTOCK project revolutionises the study of Posidonia oceanica with non-invasive technology

  • News
An international scientific initiative, led by the Aquatic Macrophyte Ecology Group (GAME) of the CEAB-CSIC, is ready to mark a before and after in marine conservation. The project, called BLUESTOCK, will implement cutting-edge technology provided by GPA-Seabots to revolutionise the way the prairies would be invented of Posidonia oceanica, a vital Mediterranean ecosystem. By using non-destructive techniques, BLUESTOCK aims to overcome the limitations of traditional methods and open the door to viable conservation projects in carbon markets.
