About me
Diana (Federal District, Mexico, 1982) is a scientific researcher at CONICET (National Scientific and Technical Research Council, Argentina). She has recently been awarded a postdoctoral fellowship to work for one year within the GAME group. Her research focuses on understanding different aspects of the carbon and nitrogen dynamics of salt marshes, such as the amount of carbon accumulated in the sediment, the dynamics of above-ground biomass (primary productivity, mortality, detritus production, and decomposition rates), as well as the recycling of carbon and nitrogen mediated by different biotic interactions such as herbivory and bioturbation. She is currently studying the effect of different nitrogen loads on the carbon stocks of salt marshes.
