About me
Paolo was born in Italy in 1995. In 2021, he obtained his degree in Environmental and Natural Sciences from the University of Udine and, in October 2023, his master's in Global Change Ecology from the University of Trieste. In November 2023, he began a joint doctoral programme in Environmental and Life Sciences at the Universities of Trieste and Udine. His research focuses on the response of plant communities in lagoon and coastal environments to global changes at different ecological scales, using scaling approaches.
Hobbies
Enthusiastic grower of aquatic and tropical plants; wood carving and sculpture; playing the guitar; kayaking.
Scientific interests
Plant ecology, aquatic botany, integration of remote sensing data in ecological research, pattern formation in ecosystems.
