About me
I was born and raised in Madrid and despite living far from the sea, it always intrigued and fascinated me. That is why, after finishing high school, I decided to study Marine Sciences at the University of Alicante.
After finishing my degree, I moved again, this time to Denmark to study a Master's in Biology with a specialisation in marine mammals and bioacoustics at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU). During my master's, I became involved in several international collaborations, participating in various projects in Peru and Chile related to marine mammals. Among these, my thesis stands out: "Acoustic characterization of the Burmeister’s porpoise (Phocoena spinipinnis) and its potential use in Passive Acoustic Monitoring."
Finally, after working as a research assistant for my thesis supervisor, Magnus Wahlberg, I decided to return to Spain, working as a research technician for the bat study group at the Granollers Museum. Upon finishing my contract, I enrolled in the Master's in Scientific Illustration offered by the University of Girona.
I am currently part of the GAME group, coordinating the team and leading the group's communication and outreach activities.
