The First Scientific-Technical Course on Blue Carbon Quantification Concludes
Last Friday, 15 June, we concluded the 1st Scientific-Technical Course on Blue Carbon Quantification. It lasted two full days at the Centre for Advanced Studies of Blanes (CEAB-CSIC) and included theoretical sessions combined with practical experiences in the laboratory and at the computer. This theoretical-practical combination, with a high degree of hands-on work, allowed the attendees to realistically experience all the steps from processing the samples taken during fieldwork and preparing them for various analyses to the presentation and discussion of the final results.
We thank all the attendees for their high level of participation and the organisers (members of GAME) for their involvement in preparing this first edition of the course, hoping it will be the first of many more to come.
From GAME, we are very pleased with the result! Here is a chart with the course rating according to its attendees.
