Jordi Pagès awarded a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action

Jordi Pagès, actualmente investigador asociado en Bangor University (Wales, United Kingdom), has recently been awarded a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action. These prestigious fellowships are granted by the European Commission to experienced researchers seeking to diversify their individual skills through advanced training, international and intersectoral mobility.

With his project ‘Past, present and future environmental, biological and social transitions in coastal ecosystems (FOREPAST)’, Jordi will be hosted at the University of Barcelona (with Prof. Javier Romero) and will collaborate with GAME at CEAB-CSIC to explore past ecological transitions. This is a truly interdisciplinary project, with tasks focusing on both the natural and social sciences, addressing questions across a variety of time scales (from the past to the future), all centred around the concept of regime shifts.
