About me

Enric is a marine biologist from Mallorca with a deep passion for the sea, ecology, and marine biology. He graduated in Biology and holds a Master's degree in Oceanography and Marine Environment Management.

He is currently pursuing an industrial doctorate with Biosfera, CEAB-CSIC, and the University of Barcelona. His research explores how restoration contributes to carbon sequestration and how posidonia escarpments serve as refuges for fish and biodiversity hotspots, while actively contributing to marine restoration projects that promote blue carbon conservation.

Scientific interests

Study and conservation of the oceans. Blue carbon. Posidonia oceanica. Biodiversity associated with escarpments of Posidonia oceanica.

Hobbies

Among the hobbies, those related to the sea stand out, such as diving, snorkelling, sailing, cliff jumping, and psicoblock. Occasionally, he practises climbing and spearfishing.

He likes listening to and making music. He plays the guitar and the ukulele, and sometimes sings.
