About me
Irene (L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, 1997) is studying for a degree in Biology at the University of Barcelona. She has wanted to dedicate her life to studying marine ecology since she was a child. She completed her final degree project with the GAME-CSIC group entitled “6000 years of history of P.oceanica, a paleo-environmental approach, and is currently continuing with a Master's thesis.
Scientific interests
Climate change, coral reefs, seagrass meadows, marine ecology, paleoecology.
Hobbies
Playing basketball, diving, and travelling.
