About me
Born in Barcelona in 1963. She studied Geography at the University of Barcelona and earned her doctorate specialising in geomorphology in 1991. Since 1988, she has worked at the Jaume Almera Earth Sciences Institute (CSIC) specialising in hydrology. In 2008, she obtained a permanent civil servant position as a senior specialist at the CSIC. In 2010, she moved to the Centre for Advanced Studies of Blanes (CSIC) and since then Dr Soler has been permanent staff at the Centre for Advanced Studies of Blanes (CSIC). She is an expert in a wide range of analytical techniques in paleoecology and biogeochemistry, including UHPLC for the study of pigments in paleoecological records. She collaborates in GAME, mainly on the Life Blue Natura and SUMILEN projects.
