Maria Santiso

María is a Technician in Environmental Chemistry (CIFP Politécnico de Santiago, 2000). She joined GAME as a laboratory technician in April 2015. She is responsible for the geochemical analysis of the marine sediments of the seagrass Posidonia oceanica. Among other techniques, she is skilled in methods for selective extraction of metals and sediment respirometry, as well as the analysis of susceptibility to oxidation of organic matter and the inhibitory mechanisms of microbial activity.
