About me
Elena (Madrid 1973) has recently completed her PhD on the population dynamics of Posidonia oceanica meadows in the face of climate change, at the University of the Balearic Islands. She has also coordinated the EU project Life+Posidonia Andalucia. She now applies her experience with this habitat and Life projects, as well as her knowledge of seagrasses in Andalucia, to the Life Blue Natura project, which aims to quantify the blue carbon deposits and sinks formed by Andalusian seagrasses and coastal saltmarshes.
