About me
Nerea Piñeiro (Moaña 1992) studied Biology and completed a master's degree in Environmental Engineering at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC). She is currently a doctoral student at the same university (USC) under the supervision of Professor Antonio Martinez Cortizas (Soil Science) and at the Centre for Advanced Studies of Blanes (CEAB) with Miguel Ángel Mateo (Marine Ecology). Her doctoral studies focus on the biogeochemistry of carbon accumulation in seagrass meadows.
