Group of Aquatic Macrophyte Ecology
The Group of Aquatic Macrophyte Ecology (GAME), of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), is headquartered at the Blanes Centre for Advanced Studies (CEAB). Our activity focuses on the study of the ecology of coastal ecosystems dominated by marine macrophytes during the Holocene. The ultimate goal is to provide knowledge and solutions to help their conservation and thereby contribute to climate change mitigation while also supporting economic growth and societal well-being.
